Summer Solo Adventures: Wrap Up.

Seville was my last stop on my solo summer adventures. Five weeks of travel all around Europe and a hop over to Morocco. It was the most amazing summer, in more ways than I could have ever imagined. I got to visit many beautiful cities, fall in love with so many new designations, and eat the most delicious foods! I also experienced a chance to really step out of my comfort zone, many times, and grow as a person because of it. Best of all, despite this being a solo adventure, I was able to share incredible moments with so many wonderful people along the way.

I ended my 5 weeks of solo travel with a flight from Seville to London Gatwick, and a lovely stay in a Yotel! The Yotel at Gatwick is a pod designed hotel offering compact comfort for guests who just need a short stay. I chose to stay here because I was landing late at Gatwick and my cousin was arriving the next morning, so it was hardly worth the time and effort to take a train into London and find a place to stay. Plus, I have always wanted to stay at the Yotel here. As you can see in the photos below, the room is a compact space filled with a cozy bed, tv, mini work station and bathroom. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, the rain shower epic and the best part – it was so quiet! After weeks of sharing a room with at least one other person, this one night here was heaven for me. I can’t wait to stay in a yotel again!

The yotel stay was a delightful way to wrap up my the travels I planned for myself, and provided me with a great nights rest before meeting up with my cousin for our 10 days of busy travels. Stay tuned to hear about our London, Paris & Rome Adventure!
