Well once I finished War & Peace (finally) I got up to reading only three more books. With a holiday on the horizon, I hope to really bump up my reading soon.
All I’ve Ever Wanted by Adrianne Bryd: A quick and quirky suspense romance novel. The story follows a single mom who witnesses a gang murder, and a detective set out to use her as a witness to solve the case, despite her being reluctant. Things get complicated (and heated) when her son goes missing, and she requires his assistance. But with all romance novels, this one does have a happy ending.
Switched by Amanda Hocking: This book is the first in a series that features a modern take on changelings and trolls. I have read it before, and it is a fun favourite of mine. The main character, Wendy, finds out on
Its Your Biz by Susan Wilson Solovic: I took a break outside of my typical reading zone and read a business book! I wanted something that featured tips and advice on running a small business. (Why you ask? Well stay tuned :P) This was a good dream. The author was very real about what it takes to run a small business, and lays it out very well to see if you have what it takes or not. I’m not much of a technical book reader, but I enjoyed the way this was written. The information was delivered in an easy to read and follow format. I didn’t take away any revolutionary ideas or advice from it, but it did clarify a few points for me and also provide reassurance on a few steps.
Until next time!
